DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM IT IS A FIRE HAZZARD

AlicesparksOctober 2025

we have FLIR tested over 50 units of this product now with a starlink mini for a test load load ALL have failed after 5-10minutes of runtime due to overheating, of greater concern the calculated load under test conditions was 35w. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM IT IS A FIRE HAZZARD

Not continuous 100w rated

missionhqSeptember 2025

Bought this with the expectation that it would run a Starlink mini which has an average power consumption of 65w peaking at 100w. This adapter kept going into thermal overtemp after only 5 mins of use at 65w. I had to keep cooling it down in the freezer for 10 mins before I could get another 5 mins use from it! I think the problem is that it keeps trying to re-negotiate the usb PD output voltage whenever it overheats because it can't deliver 65w continuously let alone the stated 100w. It maybe great for fast-charging a phone but DO NOT BUY if you want to power a laptop, Starlink or similar mobile device.
