Great idea... but something is wrong
Using the product for a month or so now. I have mixed views on the product. Yes it works most of the time, however I have done trips where it doesn't show the trip at all. I have also had time the location of my vehicle doesn't move for 12 hours or more. Sometimes it shows my vehicle in another location but the last trip shows I have gone home. Would be fantastic if it was consistent.
Don’t get locked into Netstar!!
Setup the tracker Ok, but it would not send location to the app. Tech support from Netstar was not helpful. After much back and forth finally returned the unit to Jaycar for a refund, that was every way. However, then Netstar spammed and hassled me for months and months after to sign up for the expensive subscription. Even after I advised them many times I had returned the faulty tracker they continued to pressured me for money. I do not recommend getting caught up in the Netstar ecosystem.
Great Value!
Have now been running this for two months in my vehicle, regular data uplods are working smoothly. The App is extremely easy to use and adding a device is extremely simply. The monthly subscription is good value for money with no additional sim required and includes app updates and develpment. In my opinion these devices are great value for your money
App is great and easy to use. The whole set up process of activating the tracker was super easy. Instructional videos are informatibe and really easy to follow.

I've been using this for a few months now and it is definitely worth the piece of mind that it gives. App user interface is very simple to understand and use
