Used to be great
The red version of this crimp tool had an adjustable tension, and was a 10/10 tool hands down. The new version cannot be adjusted and sells for the same price despite being of much poorer quality and has a set tension that regularly strips through double walled cable. Only use this tool for single core cable as its useless against any other number of cores.
Best tool that Jaycar sells
This item was genuinely a life-changer, it is surprising how easy this makes the job of stripping and cutting low-current wire and small-mid sized automotive cable. For a reasonable price you will never have to stress or struggle with your terminations ever again.
Handy in a pinch
I purchased this to do a proper job with proper tools and was pleased with the product. I personally feel that the product could be improved in some minor areas but otherwise does a proper job at what it is described for.
This tool does it all.

good simple wire stripper
very easy to use can struggle with wires that are too big or too small but for the most part works very well, a little costly but is quite robust.

I've had one of these for nearly 2 years, really easy to use and having a wire stripper/crimper all in one tool is really useful.
