It uses the original FT232 chip with power/sending/receiving indicator and also a selectable 3.3V and 5V power option to suit different boards. Send and receive indicators.
Note: The 5V Header Pin is always at 5V as it is fed straight from the USB socket, the switch just changes the voltage levels on the data pins.

Lacking given the price compared to others
Manual is lacking for this, ISP header is not described, I also think its a little odd that the select doesn't change the voltage on the positive pin on either the ISP header or UART header, also a bunch of the FT232RL pins are no connection which is a bit of a waste given these can be used in software if you know what your doing. Here is the pins on ISP traced myself, feel free to send me a refund Jaycar for the time spent making sure this was correct. Assuming this layout for ISP 1|2 3|4 5|6 Pin to FT232RL pin 1: CTS 2: VCCIC 3: DSR 4: DCD 5: RI 6: GND I got this expecting better buying from Jaycar, given I could have purchased multiple for same money elsewhere with similar or more functionality.
It's not a USB-C or micro USB port. some weird Sony PlayStation 3 USB port that I do not have a cable suitable for.
