The built-in HD camera provides a real-time first person view (FPV) to your Smartphone which conveniently clips into the transmitter’s universal bracket. A short press of the transmitter’s camera button takes photos with 4K resolution, and a long press starts or stops the video recording in high resolution 1080P - all saved to your Smartphone to playback later. At the touch of a button, the drone can automatically lift off and hover to 1.5m ready for flight. Alternatively, toss the drone into the air using its intelligent toss and hover mode. Landing is easy too with the touch of a button. When not in use, the lightweight 74g drone folds down to just 94mm long and 58mm wide, making it convenient to carry with you wherever you go. Plenty of other features include headless mode, altitude hold, adjustable camera, 360° flip action in any direction, and a high/low-speed mode for novice or advanced users. The included high-capacity Li-ion battery provides up to 12 minutes of flight time. The smart remote control will alert you when the battery is going low so your flight is always safe. Impressive for the price
I’ve had this drone for about 6 mths and it’s great fun! It’s only my second drone, my first being just a little $40 one (-also from Jaycar and which I learnt on). These drones are so easy to fly, Jaycar sells replacement batteries (mine’s still performing as new), and for what is essentially a toy, it’s still very capable. Picture/video quality isn’t that of a phone camera but still quite useful… quite clear but understandably, gets blurry if you zoom in. The range is quite decent: ie: if you’re flying by sight, it’s capable of going further than is comfortable. I wouldn’t rely on flying via the video feed to your phone because the video very occasionally freezes. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this little camera drone as an impressive, inexpensive, entry-level unit. Happy purchase!
Jaycar brand took a hit in this one
Terrible product that was recommended by staff. Instructions didn't work with the remote drone only. Calibration step failed to execute. Using the app (android) I managed to get it to launch into the air but none of the other navigation options worked.
Great Starter Drone.
Just Bought this Drone with 2 Spare Batteries.. BE AWARE there are 2 Generations of this Drone and the Gen 1 Batteries and Charger WILL NOT work with the Gen 2 Batteries and Charger. Gen 2 Batteries and Chargers have a Green Sticker on them, Gen 1 does not. The Camera has a narrow field of view and is zoomed in a bit, it also has no Image Stabilization and sometimes suffers from Wifi interference and connection issues. If you're looking for a Drone to take footage with get something bigger with GPS and an onboard memory stick. If you just want to learn to fly this is a Great little starter Drone, It's almost Bullet Proof, and even though the video is not great, saving the footage does let you review your flights and aids in learning to fly steadily.

I bought this drone thinking I could get amazing shots but when I took off the drone launched backwards and I thought it was running flat so I charged it took it off again and what do you know it did the same thing but refused to go forward
Not worth it
Definitely a small, portable beginners drone. I was today years old when I realized 4k photos and 1080p video don't correlate with good quality tho - for those thinking you'll get quality, the photos are 2.1MP and videos about 8MP. Pretty blurry. My drone also doesn't hold position, even inside with no wind it'll pull to the left. Would prob buy a cheapie and get similar quality to this drone for half the price
