A low cost method of stand-alone programming for when the application board is unavailable or doesn't include an ISP (or JTAG) header. Program, erase, and rewrite the program and data memory in your AVR microprocessor with this socket board. Kit includes everything you need to support in-system programming, complete with a regulated power supply, clock source and microcontroller IC socket. Designed in conjunction with KC-5340 AVR ISP Serial Programmer Ref: Silicon Chip October 2002. Note: Does not include ZIF sockets.
