Note: The speaker can operate while charging (e.g. when connected to a power bank or charger).
However, to protect and extend the battery life, it is recommended not to use the speaker continuously while charging.

Unrivalled value for money
I bought this and the S01 on a whim after an enthusiastic recommendation by a Jaycar employee. The sound quality rivals JBL for a fraction of the price, and I haven't even tested the limits of the volume as it is far too loud to use indoors at anything below a few increments up. I am really impressed with this model particularly and I do not think there is better value sound quality anywhere for the money. I fully believe the 100W RMS claim and the sound doesn't degrade at 3/4 power (I haven't tested to 100% yet). I am likely to buy another one to act as a completely over the top stereo pair. No, I am not an employee or affiliated with Jaycar; this is simply a banger of a product (just use it outdoors).

Just bought this unit..the staff were amazing.& helpful..sound quality..wow..and an affordable price...would definitely recommend this product...only so far...haven't worked out as to know when fully charged..
Jaycar surprises me
Bought this today, I may buy another its very loud but does not distort handles musical bass very well. Feels sturdy and not cheap Everything i look for in a product Very noticeable outdoor vs inside mode Inside mode less treble more bass, Outside mode more treble to project further but same bass.
